A Christmas Story

I am so in love with this mani! I may have to wait for a day to do the next challenge because I want to wear this for a few days. :-) YOU'LL SHOOT YOUR EYE OUT! Ha ha! 

Here's Ralphie (as played by Peter Billingsley) on my thumb, and the leg lamp stretched across my other fingers. This just cracked me up.

I used a Konad stamp from plate m57 for the fishnet stocking pattern. I turned it on its side so that the lamp would stretch across my nails like this. Nice gam(s)!

Look at his little face! So cute!

I used acrylic paint to create the shape of the leg lamp, the lamp shade, and Ralphie himself. I think the likeness came out really well. Especially because people at work actually recognized it as Ralphie! 

"No! No! I want an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle!"

On my right hand I painted the word "FRAGILE" (it must be Italian!) and a few Christmas ornaments. 

Here's the right hand topcoated. Polishes used in this manicure: Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Petal Pusher and Wet n Wild Black Creme. I also used Essie All In One Basecoat and Seche Vite topcoat.

    Before I even saw the bottom of this post, in my mind I was saying fragilay! I LOVE this movie! I watch on the eve for most of the 24 hours on tbs!

    So awesome. A Christmas Story is my favourite Christmas movie. I watched it yesterday and will watch it a few more times this December.

    Ha ha Fingers! I had to go out and buy the 20th anniversary DVD so I could watch it over and over whenever I want to. :) Pretty much memorized the dang movie. :)

    Thank you Helen! I love A Christmas Story, too. There is so much truth in that movie about how families get along and the inner struggles, as well as the love that underlies all of the strife.
