This manicure is my version of eggs frying on the pavement! It is part of Neverland Nail Blog's Summer Fun Nail Art challenge. :)
Sunny side up!
I started with my favorite black polish: Wet n Wild Ebony Hates Chris. I topped that with a coat of Love & Beauty Charcoal polish (I hate the names of Love & Beauty polishes!)
I topped my nails with Hard Candy Matte-ly In Love matte topcoat to give my nails the appearance of blacktop.
Here you can see the progression of the artwork, I used white, yellow, and black acrylic paints with a small nail art brush to make the eggs.
These are the polishes I used to create this look, and a matte topcoat.
Finally I used my small nail art brush and coated only the eggs with Seche Vite topcoat to give them a shiny finish. Again, sorry for my thumbnail, I broke the corner of it. :(
SHUT UP! This is too clever. YOU DARN CLEVER BIOTCH! *shakes fist* <3

DeleteThis is adorable also so weird because I saw this post after thinking about creating a manicure with believe it or not eggs...um and some green ham hahaha I'll leave it there but I think you get the gist. In any event I'm interested to know what time of nail brushes you use. I'm always in the market to find some new ones that I love! You are as always AMAZE-BALLS!
ReplyDeleteHi Lacquer Lockdown, believe it or not, I actually did Green Eggs and Ham nails! Check it out: http://www.sonomanailart.com/2012/03/green-eggs-and-ham.html
DeleteI use a small nail brush from Sally Beauty Supply, it is orangish yellow (the handle) and is marked 306. Check out my FAQ section for more details. :)
