Green Eggs and Ham

In honor of Dr. Seuss' 108th birthday last week, here are my Green Eggs and Ham nails!

Sorry, I did not take any pics during the painting of this mani, just the finished product. But that ham sure does look tasty, huh? :)

And on my right hand: green eggs. This was the easier image to paint, so I did it with my non dominant hand.

Here is the base color I used in this mani: OPI Tasmanian Devil Made Me Do It. I've been a little bit busy behind the scenes at Sonoma Nail Art, so sorry for my absence. My mom is in town from Seattle this weekend so I will probably not have any more posts for you this week. I'll jump back on the wagon soon. :)

Have a great day!

    1. Aw, thanks Amber! I love all of Dr. Seuss' wiggles and lines. They were fun to paint.

  2. I rather liked my own boring non-art polish job until I saw this. But now I'm not sure I can adequately convey just how jealous I am that you have this on your nails, and I do not!!! :D

  3. Oh wow, you have literally made me gasp out loud, lol. I am and always have been obsessed with Dr Suess especially the book Green Eggs and Ham. My 3 little ones also love it as it makes us all laugh when we read it at bedtime. You are so talented. Thank you, you have made my day!

    1. I totally love Dr. Seuss too! I have a few collections of his works that he did before starting his children's books. He was such an amazing artist. If you haven't yet, you should watch In Search of Dr. Seuss with Kathy Najimy and Robin Williams. It is really fun and chronicles all of Theodore Geisel's life.

    1. Thanks so much! I chose to do the little eggs because they are less detailed. :)
